PROPRIETARY SIRAPID 3333 Heat Treatments
- Soft Annealing: Heat to 780 - 820°C, cool slowly in furnace. Stress Relieving: should be carried out by heating to 600 - 650°C, holding for one hour at heat, followed by air cooling. Hardening: Harden from a temperature of 1170 - 1220°C followed by oil or air quenching or warm bath 550 - 220°C. Tempering temperature: 520 - 550°C, at least 2x for at least 62 HRC.
