PROPRIETARY SIQUAL 7323 Heat Treatments
- Heat treatment similar to SIQUAL 7321 - Soft Annealing: Heat to 650 - 700°C, cool slowly. Case hardening or carburizing: 880 - 980°C, cooling in oil (water), hot bath 160 - 250°C. Direct hardening or Core refining: 860 - 900°C, cooling in oil, hot bath 160 - 250°C. Tempering: 150 - 200°C, cooling in air. Hardening: For small parts up to thickness 30 mm. Harden from a temperature of 960 - 100°C followed by air, comompressed air quenching.
