PROPRIETARY SIQUAL 7264 Heat Treatments
- Soft Annealing: Heat to 680 - 700°C, cool slowly. Carburizing: Temperature: 880 - 950°C. Cooling from carburizing temperature: oil (water), air, thermal bath, cooling box. Hardening: Core hardening temperature: 850 - 880°C. Case hardening temperature: 810 - 840°C. Quenching media: oil, (water), thermal bath. Tempering: 170 - 210°C.
