GOST 20PV Heat Treatments
- Normalization at a temperature of 920°C to 950°C.
For pipes made of steel smelted in electric furnaces, it is allowed to conduct normalization at temperatures from 920°C to 990°C.
In the case of high-speed heating, normalization at a temperature of 920°C to 1050°C is allowed.
The normalization of hot-deformed pipes with deformation heating is allowed. except pipes made of undeformed workpiece, the temperature at the end of the deformation should not be lower than the normalization temperature.
It is allowed to use accelerated fan or air-cooling cooling.
The post-normalization of high-temperature tempering is allowed.
