- Hot-forming at 1150 to 850°C.
Normalizing at 860°C to 890°C, air.
Quenching on spring at 840 to 880°C, oil or polymer.
Tempering at 380 to 500°C, air.
Hot moulding of springs 930 to 840°C.
Soft annealing at 670°C to 720°C, air.
Isothermal annealing at 810°C to 830°C, furnace cooling to 720°C, pause, then air.
End quench hardenability at 850°C, water.
Mechanical properties at different tempering temperatures obtained after quenching at 850°C in oil.
