PROPRIETARY LA 2343 Heat Treatments
- Quenching:
- preheating to 750°C,
- heating to 1010°C,
- quenching in hot oil, or in salt baths, or under gas pressure.
Tempering:
- two successive temperings,
- first temper at 550°C,
- second tempering according to hardness required,
- to obtain the maximum hardness, perform two tempering tempering at 550°C.
Annealing 750°C.
