  • Normalizing and tempering of steel pipes with wall thickness <30mm: Normalizing temperature 880 to 980°C and tempering temperature 610 to 680°C. For wall thickness > 30mm steel tube, quenching plus tempering or normalizing and tempering: quenching temperature not lower than 900°C, tempering temperature 610 to 680°C. Normalizing temperature at 880 to 980°C, tempering temperature at 610 to 680°C, but quick cooling after normalizing.
