VdTÜV P250GH Heat Treatments
- Normalizing: Heated at 890-950°C. After reaching the temperature in the whole cross section cooling in stationary air.
Stress relief annealing: Heated at 520-580°C.
Heat through and hold within the temperature range from 520-600°C.
t ≤ 15 mm ( ≥ 15 min)
15 < t ≤ 30 mm ( ≥ 30 min)
t > 30 mm (approx. 60 min)
For subsequent annealing the lower limit of the temperature rage is to be aimed for. Cooling in stationary air.
