AFCEN Z5 CND 13-04 Heat Treatments

  • Heat treatment shall consist of quenching followed by tempering. Nominal tempering temperature shall be higher than 600°C.
  • Oil or water + polymer quenching between 950°C and 1080°C, followed by tempering at a temperature higher than 580°C.
