PROPRIETARY T 15 Mo HTM Heat Treatments


  • Normalised to 800°C – 850°C for 5 - 10h, followed by controlled cooling to 650°C at a rate of 10°C/1h. Stress-relieve annealed at 550 - 650°C for 2 - 5h. Cooled slowly to 500°C then cooled naturally in air. Heat treatment 1: Hardened at 1100°C. Tempered at 560°C. Heat treatment 2: Hardened at 1150°C. Tempered at 580°C. Heat treatment 3: Hardened at 1180°C. Tempered at 580°C. Heat treatment 4: Hardened at 1100°C. Tempered at 540°C. Heat treatment 5: Hardened at 1150°C. Tempered at 520°C. Heat treatment 6: Hardened at 1180°C. Tempered at 540°C.
