PROPRIETARY 1.2083 HTM Heat Treatments
- Normalised to 840°C for 3h, cooled in the oven at 10 K/h to 660°C, then cooled in the air. Stress-relieve annealed at 650°C for 2h, cooled slowly in the oven to 500°C and then cooled in air. Quenching medium oil or nitrogen. Heat treatment 1: Hardened at 1050°C. Tempered at 500°C. Heat treatment 2: Hardened at 1050°C. Tempered at 520°C. Heat treatment 3: Hardened at 1080°C. Tempered at 520°C. Heat treatment 4: Hardened at 1050°C. Tempered at 480°C.
