SEW GX4CrNi13-4 Heat Treatments
- Quenching and tempering:
Strength level I: Austenitized at 1030-1070°C, quenched in air, tempered at 590-620°C
Strength level II: Austenitized at 1030-1070°C, quenched in air, tempered at 500-530°C
Strength level III: Austenitized at 1030-1070°C, quenched in air, tempered at 400-430°C
The temperature for the stress relief heat treatment should be at least 20°C, but at most 50°C below the applied tempering temperature of the casting
