PROPRIETARY MLX19 Heat Treatments
- Solution heat treated by:
Heating to 850°C ± 14°C (1560°F ± 25°F), holding at temperature for 90 minutes ± 15.
Quenching in oil or water
Cooling to -73°C (-100°F) or colder, holding at that temperature for not less than 8 hours.
Warming in air to room temperature.
Age hardened (H950): at 510°C (950°F) for 16 hours.
