Heat Treatments

  • Before the tube production by cold drawing and cold pilgering a heat treatment is performed, with the temperature at least 50°C above the final solution annealing temperature. The heat treatment of the finished tubes is performed at 1180 to 1250°C (temperature of the annealing material), sufficiently fast cooling in water, air or protective gas.
