PROPRIETARY NTK 630 Heat Treatments
- S - heated at 1,020~1060ºC for 30 minutes, should be air or oil cooled. H900 - heated at the temperature of 470~480ºC for 1h followed by air cooling. The treatment obtains alloy the highest strength due to precipitation of copper rich phase. Deformation by this treatment is small (About 0.04% contraction). So that, Dimensional changes for finished products in heat treating are minimized. H1025, H1150 - In case of use is required especially toughness. alloy is treated H1025-H1150 over H900 heat treatment temperature. By H1150, Material has best toughness but lower hardness.
