PROPRIETARY DC53 Heat Treatments
- Hardened: 1020-1040°C, air cooled
Tempered: 180-200°C, air cooled - Heat treatment 1: Quenching at 1030°C. Tempering twice at 180 - 200°C. Heat treatment 2: Quenching at 1030°C. Tempering twice at 500°C. Heat treatment 3: Quenching at 1030°C. Tempering twice at 500 - 540°C. Heat treatment 4: Quenching at 1030°C. Tempering twice at 500 - 540°C plus 400°C. The best temperature of stabilization treatment is 400°C.
