  • Annealed: Heated to 780°C; Slowly cooled.
    Quenched and tempered (I): Oil quenched from 870°C; Tempered at 600°C.
    Quenched and tempered (II): Oil quenched from 870°C; Double tempered at 300°C.
    Normalized: Heated to 925°C; Air cooled.
    Hardened: Heated to 870°C. Oil quenched.
    Tempered: Depending on properties required.
