PROPRIETARY CH Heat Treatments
- Annealing at 820 - 850°C for 4 - 6h, slow furnace cooling. Stress relieving at appr. 650°C for 1 - 2h, slow cooling. Hardening at 930 - 960°C. Quenching in oil or warm bath at 350 - 400°C. Quenching in forced air at 960 - 980°C for thickness up to 30 mm. Tempering as required.
