PROPRIETARY CPPU Heat Treatments
- Soft annealing: 820 - 850°C, furnace cooling.
Stress relief annealing: 600 - 650°C, furnace cooling.
Hardening: 1000 - 1030°C, oil, pressure gas, air or hot bath 500 - 550°C cooling. Tempering at 300°C max.
Hardening: 1040 - 1080°C, oil, pressure gas, air or hot bath 500 - 550°C cooling. Tempering at 480°C max. - Soft annealed: 820-850°C, furnace cooled (HB ≤ 255)
Stress relief annealed: 600-650°C, furnace cooled
Hardened 1: 1000-1030°C, oil cooled, pressure gas (N2), air or hot bath 500-550°C, tempering < 300°C
Hardened 2: 1040-1080°C, oil cooled, pressure gas (N2), air or hot bath 500-550°C, tempering > 480°C
