ASTM A 376 TP348H Heat Treatments
- If cold working is involved in processing, the minimum solution-treating temperature shall be 1100°C (2000°F). If the material is hot-rolled, the minimum solution-treating temperature shall be 1925°F (1050 °C).
A solution annealing temperature above 1065°C (1950°F) may impair the resistance to the inter-granular corrosion after subsequent exposure to sensitizing conditions.
