ASME SA-213 Grade TP 348H Heat Treatments
- Solution treatment; Austenitizing/Solutioning cold worked temperature min. 1100°C (2000°F); hot rolled temperature min. 1050°C (1925°F).
Cooling Media: water or other rapid cool.
A solution treating temperature above 1065°C (1950°F) may impair resistance to intergranular corrosion after subsequent exposure to sensitizing conditions in the indicated grades. When specified by the purchaser, a lower temperature stabilization or resolution anneal shall be used subsequent to the higher-temperature solution anneal.
