ASTM A 356 Grade 12 Heat Treatments
- Grade 12 castings shall be normalized at 1040-1080°C (1900-1975°F) and withdrawn from the furnace and allowed to cool to effect complete transformation. Castings shall be tempered at 730- 800°C (1350-1470°F).
