ASTM A 199 Grade T91 Heat Treatments
- The tubes shall be normalized from the temperature range of 1040 to 1095°C (1900 to 2000°F) and tempered at 730°C (1350°F) minimum. After the final cold draw pass tubes shall be heat treated at 675°C (1250°F) or higher.
