PROPRIETARY SIAU 2550 Heat Treatments
- Annealing at 720 - 750°C, hold for 3 - 5h, furnace cooling to 500°C, cooling in air. Stress relieving at 600 - 650°C, hold for about 2h, slow cooling in furnace to at least 500°C and then in still air. Hardening: preheat to 870 - 900°C, cooling in oil. Tempering at 180 - 250°C for at least 2h (1h every 25 mm).
