PROPRIETARY F Heat Treatments
- Isothermal annealing at 780°C, hold for 0.5 - 1h, furnace cooling to 690°C and hold at temperature for at least 6h, cool by 10°C/h to 650°C, cooling in air. Stress relieving at 600 - 650°C, hold for about 2h, furnace cooling to 300 - 350°C, cooling in air. Hardening: preheating to 350 - 450°C, heat to hardening temperature 760 - 820°C and hold at temperature, cooling in oil. Tempering at 150 - 250°C for at least 2h, cooling in air.
