PROPRIETARY UM20 Heat Treatments
- Soft annealing: heating to 760-820°C, holding at temperature furnace cooling to 650°C (15°C/hour), then cooling in stationary air; Stress relieving: after rough machining, heating to 600-650°C. holding at temperature cooling in furnace to 500°C, then cooling in stationary air; Hardening: preheating at 600-650°C, austenitization at 770-810°C, oil-quenching; Tempering: heating to 150-250°C, holding at temperature.
