Heat Treatments

 • Annealing: Heated at 890-950°C. Cooled in furnace to 680-730°C, held for 60 minutes, then cooled in still air or in furnace at 550°C, then delayed in air.

Stress relief annealing: Heated at 700°C-760°C, held for min. 60 minutes, delayed cooling to 550°C is recommended.

Material can be cold and hot formed.
 • Isothermal annealing (+I): 890-950°C, furnace atmosphere cooling.
