DIN 1.7362+NT1 Heat Treatments
- Hardening: Heated at 930-980°C, cooled in still air.
Tempering: Heated at 730-770°C, held for min. 30 minutes.
Stress relief annealing: Heated at 680-730°C (30K under the tempering temperature), held for min. 30 minutes, air cooled.
Material can be cold and hot formed. - Normalizing and tempering (+NT1): 930-980°C, air cooling. Tempering: 730-770°C, air cooling.
