UNI 1.4980 Heat Treatments

  • (+AT+P) Solution annealed: 970-990°C, cooled in oil or water; Precipitation hardened: 710-730°C.
  • Softened and cold worked: 900°C/t = 1 h/AC or faster + 15% ≤ cold worked ≤ 25% at θ ≤ 870°C
    Solution treated and precipitation treated: 900°C/t = 1 h/AC or faster + 15% ≤ cold worked ≤ 25% at θ ≤ 870°C + 980°C/t = 1 h/OQ or faster + 720°C/t = 16 h/AC
