- For guidance only: Precipitation hardening (+P): 980 ± 10°C; Cooling: air or water; In the case where the heat treatment is performed in a continuous furnace, the upper part of the given temperature range, or even a temperature in excess of it, is normally preferred; Tempering or precipitation treatment: 710-730°C (16h - recommended time).
