IS X40Cr13 Heat Treatments
- Annealed (A) : 750-850°C, Quenching media: furnace;
- Hot forming at 1100-800°C, slow cooling.
Annealing (+A) at 750-800°C, cooling in furnace or air.
Quenching and tempering (+QT): heating at 950-1050°C, quenching in oil or air, tempering at 600-700°C.
