PROPRIETARY THYROPLAST 2764 Heat Treatments


  • Soft annealing at 620 - 660°C, furnace cooling. Stress-relief annealing at approx. 600°C, furnace cooling. Carburizing at 860 - 890°C, intermediate annealing at 80 - 220°C, hardening at 780 - 810°C, oil or saltbath quenching at 180 - 220°C or carburizing at 860 - 890°C, intermediate annealing at 80 - 220°C, hardening at 800 - 830°C, air quenching. Tempering after oil hardening at 100, 200, 300, 400, 500 or 600°C. Tempering after air hardening at 100, 200, 300, 400, 500 or 600°C.
