ISO X1CrNi25-21 Heat Treatments
- Hot forming at range 1150 to 850°C/ air cooling; Solution annealing (+AT) at range 1030 to 1110°C/ air or water cooling
- Hot forming: 1150-850°C, air cooling; Solution annealing (+AT): 1030-1100°C, water or air rapid cooling. If the temperature of hot forming does not drop below the lower temperature for solution annealing, a temperature of 980°C is adequate as a lower limit for Mo-free steels, a temperature of 1000°C for steels with Mo contents up to 3%, a temperature of 1020°C for steels with Mo contents exceeding 3%.
