ISO 15NiMn6 Heat Treatments
- Normalized (+N): Austenitized at 850-900°C, air cooled
Normalized and tempered (+NT): Austenitized at 850-900°C, air cooled. Tempered at 600-660°C, air cooled or water quenched
Quenched and tempered (+QT): Austenitized at 850-900°C, water or oil quenched. Tempered at 600-660°C, air cooled or water quenched - Heat treatment shall be in one of the folowing condition: 1.Normalizing: 850-900°C, air cool; 2.Normalizing: 850-900°C, air cool; Tempering: 600-660°C, air cool or water quench. 3.Quenching: 850-900°C, water or oil quench; Tempering: 600-660°C, air cool or water quench.
