- Class 1
Austenitizing: 996-1024°C (1825-1875°F), air or liquid quenching;
First temper: Minimum 566°C (1050°F);
Second temper: Minimum 552°C (1025°F);
Stress relieving: Minimum 538°C (1000°F).
Class 2
Austenitizing: 941-1024°C (1725-1875°F), air or liquid quenching;
First temper: Minimum 538°C (1000°F);
Second temper: Minimum 538°C (1000°F);
Stress relieving: Minimum 538°C (1000°F).
