ASTM A 312 TP321H Heat Treatments
- Annealing (cold finished) at min. 1100°C (2000°F); Quenched in water or rapidly cooled by other means; Annealing (hot finished) at min. 1050°C (1925°F); Quenched in water or rapidly cooled by other means.
Subsequent to the solution anneal required a stabilization heat treatment at a temperature lower than that used for the initial solution annealing heat treatment shall be given. The temperature of stabilization heat treatment shall be as agreed upon between the purchaser and vendor.
