ASTM A 420 Grade WPL 9 Heat Treatments
- Post weld-heat treatment: At 550-585°C (1025-1085°F) with a minimum holding time: 1 h / 25 mm, 2 hours minimum. For t ≥ 50 mm, the cooling rate shall not be less than 150°C (300°F) per hour down to a temperature of 315°C (600°F).
