AISI H-11 Heat Treatments
- Air cooled at 566°C.
- Annealing: 843-899°C (1550-1650°F). Furnace cool to 538°C (1000°F) or below (rate of furnace cool should be 28°C (50°F) per hour or slower). Recommended subcritical anneal temperature is 677°C (1250°F).
Austenitizing: 996-1024°C (1825-1875°F). Medium for quenching: air, oil, polymer.
