PN 45G2 Heat Treatments
- Normalization at 830°C; Hardening in oil at 830ºC then Tempering in air or oil at 580ºC.
- Normalizing 830°C; Hardening in oil at 830°C and Tempering in air or oil 580°C; Hardening temperature: 845°C; Delivery forgings: Heat treated at 1100-850°C: Softening: 650-700°C; Normalizing: 820-840°C; Hardening in the oil at 830-850°C: Tempering: recommended for dismounted cooling after tempering (oil or water) at 550-670°C.
