PN 40HNMA Heat Treatments
- Quenched and tempered (1): Hardening in oil at 850ºC then Tempering in oil at 620ºC; Quenched and tempered (2): Hardening in oil at 850ºC then Tempering in oil at 540ºC; Hardening temperature: 835°C; Delivery forgings: Heat treated at 1150-800°C: Softening: 660-700°C; Normalizing: 840-870°C; Hardening in the oil at 810-840°C: Tempering: recommended for dismounted cooling after tempering (oil or water) at 550-650°C.
