PN 13HMF Heat Treatments
- NO510: Normalization at 950-980°C and cooling in air and then Tempering at 640-670°C and cooling in air.
- Normalizing 950-980ºC, 1+2 min. 1 mm thickness of the forgings or pipe wall, but no less than 20 min. Cooling pipes in still air and for forgings of up to 50 mm in a quiet air, for 50-100 mm in the compressed air and the area, above 100 mm in oil; Tempering 680-720°C, min. 3h; Stress relief annealing 680-740°C; Hardening at 975-1000°C, cooling in the oil and Quenching at 730-750°C.
