ASME SA-217 Grade WC9 Heat Treatments
- Furnished in the normalized and tempered condition. Tempered at 675°C (1250°F) minimum.
Heat treatment shall be performed after castings have been allowed to cool below the transformation range.
Minimum preheat temperature: 200°C (400°F) for all thicknesses.
