ASME SA-193 Grade B16 Heat Treatments
- Heat treatment is performed after heading or threading. Material shall be heated to a temperature range from 925 to 955°C (1700 - 1750°F) and oil quenched. The minimum tempering temperature shall be 650°C (1200°F).
