SS 25 70 Heat Treatments
- Forging: 1150 - 1000°C, free cooling.
Hot forming of springs: 1000 - 900°C, free cooling.
Dissolution treatment: 900 - 980°C, holding time 1-2 hours, free cooling. For dimensions over 12 mm cooling in oil.
Hot aging, not cold worked state: 720°C, holding time 16 hours, then free cooling.
Hot aging, cold worked state: 600 - 675°C, holding time 16 h, then free cooling. Hot aging temperature depending on the degree of reduction.
