GOST 35HGSA Heat Treatments
- Isothermal quenching at a temperature of 880°C in a mixture of potassium and sodium nitrate having temperature 280 - 310°C, air cooling.
Normalized at 950°C; oil quenched at 890°C or normalized at 700°C, air cooled and quenched in oil; Tempered at 230°C; air cooled or oil quenched.
Normalization could be (as requested): ± 15°C and tempering could be (as requested): ± 50°C.
