JIS SEV345 Heat Treatments
- The steel plates shall be as-rolled, normalized, normalized and tempered, or stress relieving annealed upon the agreement between the purchaser and the manufacturer. In the case of performing the normalizing and tempering on the steel plates, the accelerated cooling may be performed during normalizing by liquid, air blast or other adequate methods to obtain the specified mechanical properties.
