UNI C 20 Heat Treatments
- Tube is manufactured from hot or cold rolled sheet, longitudinally welded which may be cold drawn. Tube shall be supplied in one of the following conditions: TC: Annealed. TD: Normalized. TF: Hardened and Tempered. Guideline Heat Treatment: Anneal at 650-700°C. Normalize at 880-900°C. Harden by water quenching from 860-900°C, temper at 560-660°C.
- Tube shall be either hot or cold finished. Tube shall be supplied in one of the following conditions: Hot Worked (HF). Annealed (TC). Normalized (TD). Hardened and Tempered (TF). Anneal at 650 to 700°C Normalize at 880 to 910°C. Harden from 860 to 900°C by water quenching and temper at 550 to 660°C.
