AFNOR NF P 440 NJ4 Heat Treatments
- Normalized:545 °C ± 15 °C with the following additional conditions: — maximum temperature rise: a) 5 500/thickness (in mm) = θ°C/hr above 300 °C b) 220 °C for thickness less than or equal to 25 mm — maximum holding time: 1 minute/mm with a minimum of 30 minutes; — maximum temperature decrease: 5 500/thickness (in mm) = θ°C/hr until 300 °C then air cooling.
