AFNOR NF Z 280 CD 20 2 M Heat Treatments


  • Quenched and tempered (I);
    Air quenched at 950 to 1020°C and tempered at 200 to 300°C. For t <= 200mm, without Ni, Cu and for t <= 120 mm, with Ni, Cu.
    Structure:
    - for +QT1 condition – Martensitic, austenitic, carbide
    Annealed at 680 to 700°C or Full annealed at 950 to 980°C, cooled below 40°C/h up to 600°C
