AFNOR NF GX2CrNiMoCuN25-6-3-3 Heat Treatments
- +AT: 1120-1150°C. After maintaining in solution at high temperature, precipitation hardening is possible by treatment at a temperature of 480°- 510°C. The molded parts can be cooled to a temperature between 1010°C and 1040°C, before being subjected to quenching in water to prevent cracking and improve the corrosion resistance.
- Solution annealing (+AT) at 1120 to 1150°C and quenching in water.
After solution annealing at high temperature, castings may be cooled to a temperature between 1040°C and 1010°C prior to water quenching to prevent cracks and to improve corrosion resistance.
After solution annealing + quenching in water, precipitation hardening is possible by treatment at 480°C to 510°C, while ductility, impact energy and corrosion resistance are only slightly lowered.
